OPERATION DIRECTIONS

Principle of Operation

• The bed-type medical air cushion (for short: cushion) is composed of two parts:
  main frame and air cushion.
• The air cushion has two separate ballonets.
• Under the control of the main frame, each balloon can touch a different part of the body every 6 minutes.
• The fluctuating balloon can expedite blood circulation to avoid the appearance of bedsores in patients who stay in bed for long. So as to cure the bedsore quickly.

Operation Directions

I Mainframe Control:

• 1- When the power supply is connected, press and switch on;

the mainframe begins to puff and add pressure to the air cushion.

• 2- Strong/weak switch:

Turning clockwise means strong, and turning counterclockwise means weak.

• 3- Puff vessel:

The pump of the mainframe can puff and deflate the two ballonets by turning through the two vessels.

II Usage:

• 1- Tile the air cushion on the bed,

Then connect the two air charging vessels on the air cushion to the vessels on the mainframe

• 2- Switch on the power and turn on the power

Then the mainframe begins to work.

• 3- When use it for the first time

Please switch the puff intensity clockwise to the position of strong”

• 4- At night or when the patient feels the air pressure changes strongly

Please switch the puff Intensity counter clockwise to the position of “weak”.

III Notice:

• 1. In case of lacerating the air cushion, please don’t touch it with any edge tool.
• 2. Don’t clean it with petrol or alcohol.
  Please gently wash it with soap or washing powder.
  (For easier cleaning, please tile a piece of thin cloth on the air cushion).
• 3. Better tile the air cushion on a hard wooden bed.
• 4. When you install or use it, please check if the tube is bent and keep it free of gas.
• 5. When you use it for the first time, please puff for about 15-20 minutes before using.
• 6. If there is an air leak in the air cushion to the spherical bag,
  it can be repaired with glue and cloth.
  The method is: clean the leaking part, put some glue on it and wait a moment, then affix the cloth on the part.

IV Way of Storage:

• Store the air cushion in a breezy room in which the relative temperature is not more than 80%,
• and without direct sunlight or corrosive gas.

 

AIR PUMP
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

• 1- PLACE PUMP ON A FLAT SURFACE OR SUSPEND PUMP ON END OF BED WITH ATTACHED HOOKS.
• 2- PLACE AIR MATTRESS ON TOP OF BED. NOTE FOOT END.
• 3- CONNECT THE AIR HOSES FIRMLY TO PUMP AND AIR MATTRESS.
  MAKE SURE IT DOES NOT COME LOSE AND AIR CAN FLOW SMOOTHLY THROUGH THE AIR TUBES.
• 4- CHECK AND ENSURE THE AIR HOSES ARE NOT KINKED OR TUCKED UNDER THE MATTRESS
• 5- MAKE SURE THE VOLTAGE IS CORRECT.
  PLUG THE POWER CORD, THEN SWITCH ON THE PUMP TO INFLATE THE MATTRESS.
• 6- ADJUST THE PRESSURE TO PATIENT COMFORT.
• 7- DO NOT SIT OR LIE ON THE AIR MATTRESS UNLESS THE ABOVE PROCEDURE IS COMPLETED.
